For anyone who attended this year’s Imbolc Festival, this live performance of “Archetype” may sound bring back chilly memories. Composed and arranged by King Sophia and performed live by King Sophia and the Unbroken Circle, this song highlights the narratives we tell ourselves to avoid accountability and difficult emotions. The performance took place at the Boyer-Campbell building as part of King’s Imbolc Showcase. This iteration of the band features King Sophia on cello and vocals, Sasha G on flute and vocals, KTCHN on keys and vocals, Na Bonsai on guitar and vocals, Aya Sekine on synth bass, and Ryan Rose on drumset.
